Welcome to Waiheke Dental Centre

Unite against COVID-19: UPDATE 8th March

Waiheke Dental Centre is very happy are now we are back in Level 2!!

We are committed  to the health and safety of our Waiheke community, patients, family & friends.

Under Level 2 we are able to offer ‘normal’ treatment albeit with some extra measures.

We are following strict guidelines from the MOH, Dental Council and NZDA under Level 2 rules to treat patients.

We have to limit contacts so that we are ‘playing it safe’ but we will still do our very best to make your dental appointment as stress-free as we can.

We are committed  to the health and safety of our Waiheke community, patients, family & friends.

Some of the changes from pre-Covid-19 include:

  • Asking a few questions relating to your risk of exposure and risk to the Covid-19 virus prior to your appointment and take your temperature.
  • Please use our hand sanitiser or wash your hands in our bathroom when you come in and leave
  • We will be limiting the amount of aerosol created so this will mean a mouthwash before we look in your mouth and the use of a rubber dam where we can.
  • limiting the number of people at the practice at one time.

Meanwhile stay safe Waiheke, wash your hands, cough or sneeze in to your elbow, stay home, practice physical distancing, keep surfaces clean and look after others. Together we will get through this.

You can have an attractive healthy gorgeous smile all your life.

Dr Stevens and team provide quality dentistry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, enabling you to enjoy the benefits of cosmetic and general dentistry (including laser dentistry).

We have a special interest in Minimal Intervention Dentistry and Biomimetics.

Safe amalgam removal is, of course, a standard.

This is reflected in our guide statement:

“Our guiding principle is to provide quality oral care by performing appropriate treatment to give long lasting solutions. We care for our patients, we endeavour to exceed their expectations and are always warm and welcoming”

You can make an appointment for your oral health care needs from Monday to Friday (including two late nights).
